Hellooooo! Those of you active on twitter may have noticed a bunch of talk this week about a 30 Day Burpee Challenge. Scott, over at Your Inner Skinny (check out his transformation!!) originally kicked this challenge off for the New Year but it’s been resurrected for summer! It starts today so go check it out and do it with me! I’m starting at the advanced level with 15 burpees plus one more each day. I did 15 this morning before my shower. This might get a lot harder towards the end when it’s 40+ burpees each day but we can do it, right?
I also got in a bodyrock workout just now.
Ten minutes easy jump rope warm up, then an interval burn workout of six exercises for 50 seconds on and 10 seconds rest, two times through. Followed that up with four upper body strength intervals and four jump rope intervals. First bodyrock workout I’ve done in a while and it felt good. I’ll probably be doing a lot more when I get home too late for yoga.
Speaking of that, tomorrow is the first day on the new job. Our fridge is packed full with chopped fruits and veggies for fast and easy lunches and snacks.
